BretFX Clock Maker has been updated to version 1.2 and includes new features, bug fixes and updates for FCPX 10.4.5 and High Sierra / Mojave.
BretFX Clock Maker is a highly customizable, animated clock plugin for FCP X that can optionally highlight a particular time frame. The size, color, position and scale of nearly every aspect of the face, hands, background/drop zone, tick marks and highlight can be adjusted or turned on/off with unlimited possibilities. It’s great for overlaying over a time lapse, informational graphic, cooking video or anywhere you need to show the passage of a particular amount of time.
New Features & Bug Fixes
Reverse Animation Check Box
When checked, an animation that normally animates four hours from 2 o’clock to 6 o’clock will instead animate in reverse from 2 o’clock to 10 o’clock. Helpful for creating a countdown timer.
Invert Highlight Check Box
When checked, the highlight area will be inverted, instead wiping away the highlight instead of wiping the highlight on. Great for simulating a timer or a countdown.
Use Almost ANY Font
The consistency of placement of numbers around the clock face has been greatly improved and is the main focus of the 1.2 update. You can now use almost any font for the standard numbers and stopwatch fonts and the Roman Font consistency has been greatly improved as well, although differences in sizes and kernings will be more noticeable here.
Bug Fixes pertaining to Clock Maker being used in particular combinations of MacOs and FCPX have been addressed.
